Baby’s Developments
Your baby is about 19.8 inches and weighs about 5 pounds. The organs are now almost fully developed again except for the lungs. Your baby is now likely to be in a head down position, getting ready for birth. However, if the baby is in a breech position your doctor will inform you if this is something to be alarmed about as there is time till 37 weeks for baby to move into the head down position.
Changes in the Mother
Apart from the other difficulties of the third trimester you may be feeling more Braxton Hicks contractions. Apart from that you would notice increase weight gain, and you are definitely finding it hard to get around.
Tips for this Week
Consider learning about breast feeding during this time.
Many birthing classes in hospitals will help with introducing this to you.
Again try and take it easy, and if any time you are finding it too difficult to carry out your usual work, take a break.
